Triple Chick Farm is a certified organic farm located on Mount Desert Island. They’re dedicated to producing healthy, organic food as pure as the island itself. Their vegetables, herbs, flowers and fruit are grown on fields and in greenhouses completely free of chemicals. Their chickens and turkeys are organically-fed and allowed to range, resulting in the highest quality fresh eggs and poultry.
They hand select their best, freshly-picked produce each morning for sale at their farm stand. Their signature lettuce is available all season in individual heads or in handy pre-washed, bagged salad mixes. A limited supply of fresh, free range organic eggs are also available each morning but they go quickly to the early birds. Throughout the season a broad range of flowers, herbs, fruits and vegetables ripen and become available. The farm stand becomes a glorious celebration of the range and beauty of nature’s bounty: spinach, greens, peas, spring onions, baby carrots and rhubarb in June; tomatoes, berries, summer squash, beans in July; tomatoes, potatoes, cabbage, peppers and more in August and September.
