Sweet Pea's Farm

Sweet Pea’s Farm is a farm with about 4 acres of combined field and greenhouse production on a 100+ acre property at the norther-most point of the island, just a short walk from Hadley Point.
They practice small-scale flower and vegetable agriculture following organic guidelines starting in late February when they plant their first lily bulbs and tomato seeds, and going as late as December some years with flowers, greens and root vegetables. They sell primarily at the Bar Harbor Market and Northeast Harbor Market where they are well known for those cut lilies and early heirloom tomatoes among our other offerings.
They also provide produce to restaurants on-island, keeping in truly local, including Sweet Pea’s Cafe, Mother’s Kitchen, Gather, Sassafrass Catering, Open Table MDI, the Common Good Kitchen, and a few florists as well.
